Our policy work regarding after-school activities has primarily focused on providing funding streams to start and sustain these valuable programs.
- SB 638 (Torlakson, 2006, Signed into Law): Makes the state-funded after-school grant program more friendly for community-based organizations to apply for funding

- SB 1478 (McPherson, 2002, Signed into law): Establishing state-funded after-school programs for elementary and middle school students
